Usage policies

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • You can cancel your reservation 24 hours before the start of your activity. Please note that the administration fee, which is 5% of the total amount of your bill, is not refundable.

  • All cancellation requests must be made by email to be considered valid.

  • The activity takes place in case of rain.

  • Rouge and Diable reserves the right to cancel activities in the event of thunderstorms, in which case you will receive a full refund.

DELAY POLICY

  • We ask you to arrive 30 minutes before the start of your booking. If you do not arrive at your scheduled departure time, the group will leave without you and you will not be refunded.

  • It is your responsibility to reach the arrival point within the time frame of your chosen package. You will be charged a fee of 15$/person for every 30 minutes of delay.

MINIMUM AGE

  • The minimum age to participate in activities alone is 16 years.

  • Children 15 years old and under must be accompanied by at least one person 18 years of age or older.

  • Children aged 7 and under must be in a double kayak with a person aged 18 or over. It is also possible for a child under 7 years of age to be in a single kayak adapted to his or her size, attached at all times to the kayak of a person 18 years of age or older using a tension-proof attachment system. 

  • The minimum age to participate in the activities is 4 years

USER FEES

  • An administration fee of 6% of the amount before taxes is applied for the use of the online booking platform. By booking, you agree to pay this fee.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND REGULATIONS

  • The descent of river is done in complete autonomy.

  • You are therefore responsible for your safety and the safety of the minors in your group.

  • The proper wearing of a PFD is mandatory at all times when you are in a boat. It must be properly secured to your body as recommended by the manufacturer.

  • The consumption of alcohol and the use of drugs are prohibited during the activity. You may not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs when you start the activity.

  • We offer courses for all levels of experience, but we suggest that you are accompanied if this is your first experience.

  • Closed canoes and kayaks are equipped with a bailer, rope and whistle for use in an emergency. 

  • We recommend that you keep a communication device in case you need to contact the emergency services. You can also contact us at any time at 819 201-1366.

  • We ask you to get out of the river as soon as you feel that your safety could be at risk and to contact us so that we can assist and recover you if necessary.

  • We ask you to respect the private property of local residents and not to leave any waste on your path.

  • We ask that you make good use of the crafts and use them for their intended purpose.
